ILLEGAL CONSTRUCTION IS NOT ALLOWED 13.07.2025
Last year, the department inspected 386 construction sites, identified 312 illegal sites, and reported them to the Shymkent City Department of Urban Environmental Quality and Control. These sites were identified in the Geoinformation The system has been established and specific monitoring has been carried out. Clarification work is also being carried out in parallel - increasing legal literacy among the population has become a key goal. In addition, 613 advertising devices are registered in the city. 15-20 percent of them are LED monitors. The rest are scrollers and other types. Thanks to these advertisements, revenue in 2024 amounted to 561.4 million tenge. Also, 526 advertising spaces were put up for auction through the sauda.e-qazyna.kz portal, 356 of which were sold. This brings stable income to the city budget and contributes to the regulation of street space. As a result of the past year, 75 resolutions were adopted on 317 objects related to 1060 land plots, 214.38 hectares of land were returned to state ownership, and 13 billion tenge was spent. Major projects include the acquisition of 176 land plots from Kunayev Avenue, the reconstruction of S. Baiterekov Street - 24 land plots, the construction of a stadium in block 223 of Karatau district - 154 land plots. This is a decisive step that will allow for the development of urban infrastructure, the construction of roads and social facilities. Every action taken by the administration is aimed at improving the appearance of the city and improving the quality of life of its residents. And this is a sign of truly effective management and a strategic approach. There is confidence that the future of Shymkent will be bright, and the path to that bright future begins with systematic work today. The systematic operation of an important sector that directly affects the life of the city contributes to the development of Shymkent as a modern, safe, comfortable and attractive city. The growth and prosperity of the city is the common interest of every resident. And its implementation is an important mission for the future of the nation.
SHAREHOLDERS' ACTIVITIES ARE UNDER STRICT CONTROL 13.07.2025
In the field of housing construction, joint-stock construction is one of the important mechanisms that contribute to the housing of the population. However, safety and legality are in the first place in this area. Therefore, strict control has been established over construction companies that attract funds from joint-stock companies. According to the results of 2024, 8 companies received permits from the local executive body (including 7 in Shymkent, 1 in Astana), currently 15 construction companies have received permits from the local body, and 6 companies are operating with the permission of a single operator. This is an important measure to protect the rights of joint-stock companies and ensure confidence in the housing market. The most important thing for city residents is the high-quality and timely commissioning of the constructed house. The department systematically carried out control work in this direction. Every street, new neighborhood, and newly built house in the city is a tangible result of strategic plans. And such planned development serves to improve the quality of life of the population. Last year, it was planned to commission 1,359,800 square meters of housing in Shymkent. At the end of the year, 1,366,805 square meters of housing were commissioned, exceeding the plan. This indicator is a clear indication of the city's rapid urbanization process. New microdistricts are emerging, and the population's demand for housing is being gradually satisfied. The department provides 18 different public services. In November alone, 57,196 public services were provided.
