Espoo, June 11, 2025 – Adviser to the President of Kazakhstan – Special Representative for International Environmental Cooperation Zulfiya Suleimenova took part in the Conference on Climate and Security, organized by the Finnish Chairpersonship-in-Office in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.At the opening session of the event, the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office – Minister for Foreign Affairs of Finland Elina Valtonen, as well as the Minister for Climate and Environment of Finland Sari Multala and the OSCE Co-ordinator of Economic and Environmental Activities Ambassador Bakyt Dzhusupov delivered welcoming speeches.Zulfiya Suleimenova in her speech pointed out the importance of holding this Conference, which enables participants to focus on the most important topics of strengthening security and stability in the OSCE region in the field of environmental protection and climate, promoting sustainable development and adaptation to climate change.The Special Representative of Kazakhstan noted that Central Asia is the most vulnerable to climate change, with temperatures rising twice as fast as the global average. The region suffers from extreme weather threats such as melting glaciers, desertification and water shortages. In this regard, Kazakhstan's commitment to the global climate agenda and its decisive actions against climate change were emphasized with a clear roadmap for achieving carbon neutrality by 2060. State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan reports on the expansion of opportunities to apply for the application of out-of-court bankruptcy of individuals.Since June 10, 2025 citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan can use a new option - filing an application through the mobile application of JSC “Bank CenterCredit” (bcc.kz). Previously, the procedure was available only when applying in person at the CSC or through the eGov.kz portal.In the mobile application bcc.kz in the section “Public Services” launched the service “Bankruptcy of individuals”.Important: use of the service is free of charge, commission for filing an application is not charged.
