Prevention against human papillomavirus 14.04.2025
Prevention against human papillomavirusHPV infection is the most common infection worldwide. The human papillomavirus is the cause of the development of serious diseases such as cervical cancer, rectal cancer and other malignant neoplasms. There are more than 200 types of HPV, at least 14 types of HPV, known as high oncogenic squeak types, are transmitted through the mucous membrane and can cause cervical cancer and other cancers. Most HPV infections of any type are asymptomatic. 7 out of 10 cases of cervical cancer are caused by HPV type 16 or type 18. Ways of HPV spread: 1. household contact - through a handshake, a kiss, through damage to the skin. The virus spreads rapidly in a humid environment, so you should be careful when visiting public places - saunas, baths, gyms, pools, toilets.2. Genital tract- oncogenic types of viruses, when transmitted sexually, cause genital warts that are located on the genitals.3. Vertical pathway - the virus is transmitted from mother to child while passing through the birth canal. Warts often appear in babies in the first years of life in the mouth or on the skin.4. The path of self-infection- HPV is often transferred from one part of the body to another during shaving or hair removal.Cervical cancer is a malignant tumor of a woman's cervix, almost all cases of this disease are caused by HPV infection. Every year, 600,000 cases of cervical cancer and 300,000 deaths from cervical cancer are registered worldwide. About 1,900 new cases of cervical cancer are registered annually in Kazakhstan, or 5 new cases of cervical cancer are diagnosed daily, and more than 600 women die from this pathology per year. Cervical cancer is the second most common type of cancer among women in Kazakhstan in women aged 25 to 44 years. Currently, there is no cure for HPV, and the only method of prevention is vaccination. The body reacts to the vaccine by producing antibodies that help the immune system fight HPV infection. The vaccine is not capable of causing cancer, it contains individual viral proteins that, once in the body, activate the immune system. The cells of the immune system produce antibodies that are aimed at fighting the human papillomavirus. They have no effect on a woman's fertility (reproductive function), the onset of early menopause, or the occurrence of autism in children born to mothers who received the HPV vaccine.People who oppose HPV vaccination spread negative information that vaccines are unsafe, ineffective, lead to infertility, sexual promiscuity, that the vaccine contains cancer cells and can cause cancer are unfounded and are myths. The facts are the worldwide use of the vaccine since 2006, and a decrease in the prevalence of HPV among women. Since September 2024, girls aged 11 have been vaccinated in Kazakhstan according to the National Vaccination Calendar, as well as catch-up immunization for girls aged 12-13 years. The main purpose of vaccination is to protect against cervical cancer. Vaccination of girls also provides protection to their future partners, as well as collective immunity. Vaccination consists of 2 doses of the vaccine is carried out free of charge, with the informed consent of parents or caregivers after a doctor's examination in the absence of contraindications. Parents, protect your children from this disease. The head of the USEC of the Beimbet district, Mailina Yarushko N.A.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kostanai-bmalin-audany-akimat/press/news/details/975470?lang=kk

The patriotic challenge "My Story of Victory" has started in Almaty 14.04.2025
The challenge "My Story of Victory", dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, has been launched in Almaty. Schoolchildren, youth and residents of Almaty actively participate in the online campaign, who post photos of their relatives who participated in the war or family archive photos of the war years on social networks, accompanying them with short stories or memories.Almost every Almaty family cherishes the memory of their grandfathers or grandmothers, whether they are black-and-white photographs, yellowed letters, or personal items. And the memory of the exploits of our ancestors, of the hundreds of thousands of Kazakhstanis who showed loyalty to the Motherland and self-sacrifice for the sake of our peaceful sky, will be eternal! For example, Irina Amirova, a resident of Almaty, shared the story of her great-grandfathers."Both great-grandfathers fought in our family. One is an infantryman, the other is a sapper. They had never met, but their paths crossed in one thing — in the belief in Victory. The first one returned home without a leg, but with the love of life. The second one went missing in 1943 near Smolensk. His name is stamped on the obelisk, and every May we bring flowers there. These two destinies are like two sides of a war: the pain of loss and the strength to stand up. My family keeps their memory alive so that no one forgets the price we paid for this world. This is my story of Victory."Another social network user, Aizhan Maratova, told the story of her grandfather's brother."My grandfather's brother was one of those who stood to the death for Leningrad. He rarely talked about the war — he was silent more, and it was clear that he had left a lot inside himself. On Victory Day, he was always restrained, but one day, when the whole family came to the monument to the fallen, I saw his lips tremble and tears sparkled in his eyes. He quietly said that the real victory was not only in the liberation of cities, not only in the fact that fascism had been defeated. The victory lies in the fact that the people stood up, survived all this terrible time ... and did not become embittered, did not lose a person in themselves. These words of his are etched in my memory forever."In social networks, Almaty residents actively share the stories of their grandfathers and grandmothers. It was here that the famous rifle divisions were formed, bravely defending their Homeland. In the early days of the war, training grounds for shooting and the art of modern combat appeared in the vicinity of Almaty. In 1941, the Almaty Rifle and Machine Gun School alone trained 2,429 young officers for the army. From among the conscripts and volunteers, the famous 316th Infantry Division was formed under the command of Major General Ivan Panfilov, who performed feats shoulder to shoulder in key battles of the war.On August 13, 1942, the 100th Rifle Brigade left Almaty for the front. It became one of the first national formations.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty-almaly/press/news/details/975126?lang=kk
