Astana, November 19, 2025 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev received the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Kazakhstan Armen Gevondyan.The parties discussed the current state and prospects for advancing Kazakh-Armenian cooperation in political, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres.Special attention was paid to preparations for the upcoming first official visit of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to Astana. Discussions on Enhancing Further Cooperation with the Turkic Investment Fund Held at the Kazakh Foreign Ministry 17.11.2025
Astana, November 17, 2025 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev held a meeting with President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) Bagdad Amreyev.During the talks, the parties discussed issues of cooperation within the framework of the Fund and the outcomes of the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, held on 7 October in Gabala.Minister Kosherbayev emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to the development of the Fund, which is expected to become a key element of economic cooperation in the Turkic and Islamic world.In turn, TIF President Amreyev reported on the current activities aimed at completing the institutionalization process and forming the Fund’s project portfolio.During the negotiations, the sides also exchanged views on relevant economic issues and the prospects for TIF’s cooperation with other international institutions. In particular, they discussed opportunities for interaction with Islamic finance institutions operating within the OIC framework – the Islamic Development Bank and the Islamic Organization for Food Security.The Turkic Investment Fund was established on 11 November 2022 at the 9th OTS Summit. The members of the Fund are Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. HISTORICAL CHOICE: ON THE 35TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DECLARATION OF STATE SOVEREIGNTY 17.11.2025
An open discussion platform was held in Kostanay.A socially significant meeting dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty was held in Kostanay. On November 17, a discussion platform called "Historical Choice" was held at the Smart Center of Kostanay Regional University named after Akhmet Baitursynula, bringing together experts, public figures and active youth of the region. The event was attended by representatives of non-profit organizations, media staff, faculty and university students.Opening the meeting, moderator Margulan Abdollauli Bakir introduced the guests and emphasized the historical and political significance of the 1990 Declaration, which became a key step towards Kazakhstan's independence. According to him, the document marked the beginning of the formation of a new political thinking and marked the transition to a qualitatively different social reality.The first speaker was Aybek Batyrkhanovich Shalgimbekov, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan. He elaborated on the legal and political weight of the Declaration, noting that it became the foundation that strengthened national identity and set the direction for further state development.Ruslan Batyrkhanovich Zhusupov, Master of Humanities, lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, examined the topic of sovereignty through the prism of the values of modern society. On November 14, the second Forum of Agricultural Workers was held, dedicated to the Year of Working Professions. The event brought together agricultural industry experts from all regions of the country. The forum discussed key areas of agricultural development, including the introduction of digital technologies and improving the efficiency of agricultural production. The Head of State got acquainted with the modern exposition of digital solutions presented by domestic manufacturers.A special part of the forum was the state awards ceremony. Tokyo, November 14, 2025 – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Bakayev took part in another round of political consultations between the foreign ministries of Kazakhstan and Japan.During a meeting with Japanese State Minister for Foreign Affairs Ayano Kunimitsu, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation, the implementation of previously reached agreements, and the schedule of upcoming events.
