The city of Kostanay has been previously identified as the pilot's territory," the head of the department said. The draft joint order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Industry and Construction has been published on the Open NPAs portal and is under discussion until May 12, 2025.— For example, in the first quarter of 2025, 252 applications were submitted in paper format in Kostanay for the state service "Assignment of housing assistance". Modern equipment for cancer treatment to be installed in Kostanay region 28.04.2025
On the initiative of Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov and with the support of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna public Foundation, modern equipment will be supplied to the city's oncological dispensary — a linear accelerator and a computed tomograph (CT).This decision is aimed at improving the quality of cancer care and expanding access to high-tech treatment for residents of the region. What will it give the patients? The linear accelerator is an advanced equipment used for radiation therapy. It allows you to:precisely target the tumor, minimizing damage to healthy tissues, individually adjust the treatment parameters, reduce side effects and speed up patients' recovery.A modern CT machine will be installed in combination with it, which will make it possible to determine the localization of the tumor process as accurately as possible. This is critically important for building a radiation treatment plan. Why is this important?Currently, the treatment is carried out on outdated devices installed in 1993 and 2006. Their resources are almost exhausted, and the level of accuracy and safety does not meet modern standards. In addition, about 20% of patients from Kostanay region are forced to receive such treatment in republican clinics in Astana or abroad. This creates an additional financial and logistical burden for both patients and their families. Now residents of the region will be able to receive advanced treatment on the spot. This will allow:significantly reduce the waiting list and waiting times for therapy, reduce the cost of moving and living in other regions, ensure timely initiation of radiation therapy.Financing and timingThe cost of the project for the purchase and installation of equipment exceeds 2.5 billion tenge. Financing is provided from the funds of the Kazakhstan Khalqyna Foundation in cooperation with local executive bodies.Work on the installation of equipment and staff training will be carried out in the near future. All procedures are implemented within the framework of the state program for the modernization of the healthcare system.Comment by Akim of the region Kumar Aksakalov:"Oncology is a field where every minute can be crucial. We don't just upgrade equipment — we give people a chance. Together with the Kazakhstan Halkyna Foundation, we are making quality medicine closer and more accessible to the residents of our region."Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kostanay/press/news/details/983277?lang=kk
