Today, at a solemn meeting, Akim of North Kazakhstan Region Gauez Nurmukhambetov congratulated energy industry workers on their professional holiday and presented state awards on behalf of the President.
This year has become a serious test for power engineers. During a severe flood, they showed courage and dedication, ensured the uninterrupted operation of the region's energy system, and restored the damaged infrastructure. Emergency crews promptly eliminated the effects of bad weather when hundreds of villages were left without electricity in November last year.
Currently, the enterprises Sevkazenergo and Kokshetau Energo consistently provide the region with electricity and heat supply, actively updating the equipment. The construction of a new chimney at CHPP-2 has been completed, which will be commissioned in the next heating season. Joint projects are being implemented to modernize power grids in villages, which contributes to improving the reliability of energy supply.
