The Ministry of Justice summed up the results of its activities for 2024

An expanded board meeting on the results of 2024 was held today at the Ministry of Justice, chaired by Minister Azamat Eskarayev.
The meeting was attended by Yerzhan Zhienbayev, Assistant to the President for Legal Affairs, representatives of the Presidential Administration, Government Staff, deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Prosecutor General's Office and the legal community.
During the meeting, the Vice Ministers reported on the results achieved in the supervised areas of activity.
In his speech, the Minister outlined the main areas that should be emphasized when performing the tasks facing the justice authorities.
"Ensuring the rights and interests of citizens when adopting legislation is a top priority. The law that is implemented, i.e. embodied in the legal behavior of citizens and the law enforcement activities of government agencies, is of high quality. In this regard, in order to ensure the effectiveness of rulemaking, the development of legislation should take into account the totality of factors affecting the law enforcement practice of public authorities to ensure human rights," said the Head of the Department.
Having defined the task of educating citizens in the spirit of respect and strict observance of the requirements of the law, the Minister instructed to unify the methods of legal education and ensure their effectiveness in practice.
It is also instructed to take exhaustive measures aimed at ensuring the completeness and timeliness of the execution of all judicial acts.
At the same time, Azamat Eskarayev stressed the need to introduce modern approaches and use new information technologies to ensure the availability of legal aid and its high quality.
Summing up the meeting, the leadership of the Ministry also set priorities in the field of forensic examination, protection of intellectual property rights and digitalization.
