Today, a food fair was organized in the Otyrar microdistrict of Turkestan. Meat, dairy products and agricultural products were offered at affordable and discounted prices at the fair. More than 19 types of socially significant goods were sold for 40-50% cheaper than the market value.
For example, a loaf of bread cost 70 tenge, an egg — 40 tenge per piece, salt — 45 tenge, and onions — 77 tenge per kilogram. Potatoes and carrots were sold at 100 tenge per kilogram, wheat of the 1st grade — 190 tenge, sunflower oil — 520 tenge per liter. The residents expressed their gratitude for the affordable prices for the necessary goods.
Fairs aimed at price stabilization are regularly held on the initiative of Turkestan Social and Entrepreneurial Corporation JSC.
