The Turkestan region continues to actively develop its transport infrastructure, including attention to the development of small aircraft. This will play an important role in improving the region's transport links and tourism development. As part of this initiative, projects are being considered to open new air routes and build airfields that meet the requirements of small aircraft. These issues were discussed in the akimat of the region.
Akim of Turkestan region Darkhan Satybaldy instructed to develop proposals for the development of small aircraft and increase the potential of the international airport in Turkestan.
– Turkestan International Airport has a huge potential that needs to be used effectively. This, firstly, contributes to the development of transport infrastructure, and secondly, it helps the development of tourism. Study international experience and propose specific solutions for the development of small aircraft. Work harder," Darkhan Satybaldy said.
At the meeting, Kuatzhan Zhumatayev, Head of the Department of Passenger Transport and Highways of the Turkestan region, spoke about the current work and plans for the systematization of the aviation industry. Negotiations are currently underway with representatives of several airlines and entrepreneurs interested in developing small aircraft.
In order to organize domestic flights and develop tourism, it is planned to open air routes within the region. The launch of international flights on the Turkestan-Tashkent and Turkestan-Samarkand routes is also being discussed. It is planned to use small aircraft with a capacity of 19 seats to transport passengers over short distances.
The construction of small airfields is also necessary for the development of small aviation infrastructure in the region. These projects are under discussion, and the sources of financing and negotiations are continuing.
