The business discussion, organized on the initiative of the Emergency Department of the Abai region and chaired by the deputy akim of the region, Dimitri Garikov, was attended by the heads of markets where pyrotechnic products are sold.
The meeting was moderated by Alexey Shtykel, Deputy Head of the Emergency Department of the Abai region. He emphasized the personal responsibility of facility managers for ensuring fire safety. The participants were informed about the key fire safety requirements related to the sale of pyrotechnic products.
In particular, he explained the procedure for equipping facilities with automatic fire detection and extinguishing systems, the need for primary fire extinguishing equipment, the rules for maintaining electrical equipment, and the inadmissibility of cluttering or locking evacuation exits.
Following the results of the round table, market leaders expressed their willingness to strengthen fire safety measures and comply with established requirements when selling pyrotechnic products.
