The sanitary and epidemiological surveillance services examined 10,491 product samples as part of the controlled purchase of food products, 31% of which (3,245 samples) did not comply with mandatory food safety requirements. As a result of the response measures taken, more than 5.5 tons of non-compliant products were withdrawn from the retail network.

As a result of the monitoring, advertising on 1,495 resources on social networks that implement online sales of food products without a state registration certificate was identified and removed. For example, at the initiative of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Control Committee, the company "Meta" removed 94 profiles on the Instagram social network, which is 4 times more than in 2023.

During the interaction with the Technical Regulation and Veterinary Control Committees, 200 declarations of conformity were suspended and canceled last year, and enhanced laboratory control was introduced for 34 manufacturers of imported products.
