Rescuers are working with the younger generation to teach them safety measures during emergencies. Various events are held for children, including exercises, thematic lessons, stories, interactive lessons, competitions, open days and training exercises.

For example, pupils of a kindergarten in Pavlodar participated in an educational event organized by employees of the Emergency Situations Department. Rescuers told young participants about the rules of safe behavior and explained that matches are not toys. The children actively participated in the conversation, happily answered questions, and demonstrated their knowledge and skills in thematic competitions. In turn, children and educators prepared a stage play "Koshkin Dom", in which they clearly demonstrated the importance of observing fire safety rules in various situations.

In addition, the kindergarten has its own children's fire safety corner, which has all the basic firefighting equipment, including a fire truck and a fire extinguisher, and the numbers of emergency services are written on the walls. Psychologists and employees of the regional emergency services held a special and educational day for the children of a special kindergarten-school-boarding complex. The employees told the children about fire safety rules, showed them how to use a fire extinguisher, and also showed themed videos.

Rescuers in a kindergarten in Ust-Kamenogorsk conducted a training exercise, during which they extinguished a fire that had occurred due to a short circuit in the music hall. Firefighters quickly evacuated 47 children using rescue hoods, rescued the child and the teacher from the danger zone in a timely manner, and extinguished a fire on an area of 30 square meters. First aid skills and evacuation rules in case of a fire were worked out with children and educators.

A game lesson was organized with young children in a kindergarten in the city of Uralsk, West Kazakhstan region. The goal was to expand children's ideas about firefighters and form a safety culture through creative games. Children, in turn, actively participated in games on the topic of fire safety. In addition, preventive lessons were organized with primary school students in the Akzhaiyk district. During the conversation with the children, rescuers reminded about safety in everyday life, rules of conduct in case of fire, and how to call emergency services by mobile communication, and answered questions in detail. The children looked at the equipment of firefighters and rescuers with great interest and tried on combat uniforms.

“This format of the lesson helps children learn important rules and consolidate them in practice, while developing responsibility and attention to safety issues. "Such meetings contribute to the formation of a culture of safe behavior among the younger generation, as well as broaden their understanding of the profession and educate them to respect the work of firefighters," Orazbek Ualikhanov, head of the State Fire Control Department of the Pavlodar region, noted.
