The results of the Akmola region's healthcare system for 2024 and the plan for 2025 were discussed

On January 23, 2025, a meeting of the Board of the Akmola region Health Department was held, where the results of work for 2024 were summed up and priorities for 2025 were outlined. The event was attended by Deputy akim of the region Altynai Amrenova, deputy mayors of districts and cities, as well as chief doctors of medical organizations.
Elena Ivanova, Acting Head of the Regional Health Department, delivered the main report.
"The development of the region's healthcare system remains our main task. We strive not only to introduce new technologies and improve infrastructure, but also to increase the availability and quality of medical services for every resident of the region," Elena Ivanova emphasized.
Special attention was paid to the problems of high overall mortality caused by diseases of the circulatory system and oncological diseases.
The following speakers also spoke on the agenda::
Vladimir Shimansky, Advisor to the Akim of the region on disability issues, who raised issues related to improving medical services for people with special needs.
Turmaganbet Talgat, Director of the branch of the Social Health Insurance Fund in Akmola region, who reported on the results of financing and procurement for 2024.
Bibigul Imankulova, Director of the Department of Medical and Pharmaceutical Control in Akmola region, who reported on the results of state control in the medical and pharmaceutical fields.
Infrastructure development issues were also discussed at the meeting. In 2024, 28 primary health care facilities were commissioned, and 10 more facilities are scheduled to be completed in 2025.
Following the results of the board, the participants discussed problematic issues of the healthcare system, after which specific instructions were given to eliminate them and improve the quality of medical services in the region.
