Teaching children safety measures in emergencies
01.02.2025 20:38:44 1340 Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations actively work with children, teaching them the basics of safety in emergency situations. Rescuers organize various events, such as trainings, thematic lessons, stories and interactive activities, which help children better understand how to act in dangerous situations. Competitions and open days are also held, where children get acquainted with the equipment and work of rescuers, as well as participate in exercises, practice safety skills. This not only improves children's knowledge, but also contributes to the development of a safety culture in their everyday lives.
An introductory excursion for schoolchildren was held at the Aksu Fire Department of the Pavlodar Region Emergency Situations Department, during which young guests got acquainted with the features of the service and fire safety rules, and had a unique opportunity to interact with firefighters. Rescuers clearly showed the guests their equipment, fire trucks, and special tools. The most memorable moment of the excursion was the opportunity to try on uniforms and sit in the cabin of special vehicles. During the conversation, the students learned a lot about the work of firefighters.
For kindergarten children in Kokshetau, employees of the Akmola region's Emergency Situations Department organized a theatrical performance on the topic of fire safety. Theater actors played the roles of firefighters and told children in a playful way about the dangers of playing with fire and what to do in case of a fire. The children were told about fire safety rules in an understandable language. Children not only watched the performance, but also took part in it, worrying about the characters in the play.
Activities aimed at teaching fire safety rules are being held in the capital's schools. By staging plays, writing poems, and participating in drawing competitions, children easily learn useful information in the context of safety measures. Using these methods, teachers study situations that arise as a result of fires and pay attention to ways to prevent them, which creates conditions for the formation of a safety culture and standards of responsibility in children's minds. Also during the event, a “Fire Safety” corner was presented, where safety rules were posted, as well as reminders about the work of young rescuers, for example, a model of a fire station and a fire truck.
As per the order. to ensure fire safety in kindergartens, employees of the Emergency Situations Department held training exercises in the Turkestan region. As part of this event, open lessons were held and children were shown videos about fire safety. In order to form an understanding of firefighters and firefighters in the cognitive education of children, special drawings and mosaics were created. At the end of the event, kindergarten employees were explained the correct actions to take in case of a fire.
According to rescuers, a safety culture should be introduced from an early age. It is in the process of upbringing that a child should master fire safety rules. Such meetings are held regularly in preschool institutions, and work in this direction will continue.
