Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev paid a working visit to Korday district.
The head of the region inspected the activities of the Korday checkpoint and got acquainted with the results of work on the introduction of digital services.
Automated turnstiles allowed to eliminate queues and reduce the time for checking documents.
After the modernization, the throughput of the checkpoint increased from 1 thousand to 2.5 thousand vehicles and from 6 thousand to 23,000 people per day.
The head of the region instructed to pay special attention to improving the infrastructure of the checkpoint and developing the transport and logistics potential of the region.
Yerbol Karashukeyev also got acquainted with the implementation of the housing policy.
In the village of Korday, 144 apartments were purchased for socially vulnerable citizens in need for a total of 2.1 billion tenge. Yerbol Karashukeyev visited the shelters and gave a number of instructions on the development of housing construction.
The regional akim visited the new building of the district police department, which was put into operation last year.
The building is equipped with all the modern equipment necessary for receiving citizens, and favorable conditions have been created for the effective work of employees.
During the visit, the regional head emphasized the importance of improving measures to combat crime, prevent crime, and maintain public order.
