SHAKARIM UNIVERSITY WINS TOP AT HACKATON-2025
From January 29 to 31, the Hackathon-2025 event “Kazakhstan Universities – Drivers of the Country’s Development” was held in Astana. The large-scale event brought together the country’s leading universities and became a platform for intellectual competition to become the best strategist in the field of higher education.
According to the results of the competition, Shakarim University became the absolute winner among 23 leading universities. The peculiarity of the victory was not only the high level of strategic readiness of the university, but also the presentation of young and ambitious vice-rectors and heads who are turning future ideas into reality today.
During the intensive strategic simulation FuturEdu Strategy Simulation, developed by the Moscow School of Management “Skolkovo”, the participants made decisions that will affect the development of the university environment throughout the country. Shakarim University was presented by young specialists.
Congratulating the team, the rector of the university, Duman Orynbekov, noted that behind each manager who presented Shakarim University, there are students, teachers and researchers.
"Victory is, of course, a result, but more importantly, it is a sign that new regional universities can contribute to the development of Kazakhstan," said the team members.
