On the eve of Nauryz Meiram, employees of the State Revenue Department for the Akmola region visited one of the largest museums in Kazakhstan, the regional Museum of Local Lore. The museum has a rich collection of ethnographic material of the Kazakh people.

 These aredishesmadeofwoodandleather,householditems,historicalutensils,nationalclothes, a largecollection of jewelry,medievalcoinsandsilver bowls.

The hall of one of the founders of the Kazakh statehood, Abylai Khan, was of great interest.

 Here, visitors can see areconstruction of hisclothes,correspondencewithRussianandotherrulers.Reconstruction of hisfoldingdombra,whichKhanalwaystookwithhimonhikes…A standdedicated to relationswithChina-reconstruction of letters to the Chineseemperor,vasesandotherhistoricalobjects.Interestingfinds are presentedin the medievalhall– Golden Hordeswords,blades,spearheadsandarrows.Anotheruniqueexhibitis the shapan, handed over by the descendants of ShyngysUalikhanov.

Visiting the museum made an unforgettable impression, because its exhibits and artifacts characterize the national culture, ethnographic values and identity of the Kazakh people.
