The “Clean Kazakhstan” environmental campaign, initiated by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has received widespread support across the country and continues with large-scale events in various regions. The main goal of the campaign is to promote a compassionate attitude towards the environment, form an ecological culture, and increase the population's sanitary and ecological literacy.

In this regard, today, large-scale cleaning work was organized in the Al-Farabi district of Shymkent as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" campaign.

The event involved employees of the district akimat, various institutions, and volunteers. A total of 100 people took part in these activities and actively contributed to the cleanliness of the city. In addition, 5 special vehicles were involved for the removal of garbage and construction waste.

The following tasks were performed during the cleaning:
• General sanitation in the district;
• Transportation of construction and household waste to special locations;
• Collection, planting and removal of dead trees, etc.

As a result of these works, about 7 tons of garbage were removed, making a real contribution to improving the sanitary conditions of the city.

In addition, cleaning work was carried out in the territory of the “Ken Baba” park, a frequent walking spot for city residents. The sanitary cleanliness and ecological condition of this public recreation area are always in the spotlight. In this regard, the implementation of measures to clean up and improve the area will allow residents to relax comfortably and safely.

The Al-Farabi district akimat intends to continue its work within the framework of the “Clean Kazakhstan” campaign. In this regard, the district akimat continues to call on residents of the district to be considerate of the environment, actively participate in regional Sabbaths, and maintain household cleanliness.

Protecting nature is the common duty of every citizen. Ecological safety is the guarantee of the health of the nation and the future of generations.
