On October 2, 2025, a seminar was held at the Daryn House of Culture in the village of Kasym Kaisenov, Ulan district, to explain the norms of the new Tax Code, which is due to enter into force on January 1, 2026.

Representatives of the Department of State Revenue for the East Kazakhstan region took part in the event, providing detailed explanations of key changes, including:

* General provisions of the new Tax Code;

* Individual income tax: rates and deductions;

* Social tax;

* Corporate income tax and the procedure for paying advance payments;

* Taxation of subsoil use;

* VAT changes: rates, registration, and the procedure for refunding excess amounts;

* Changes to special tax regimes, and desk audits;

* Measures for forced debt collection, as well as the provision of deferrals and installment plans for tax payments.

Participants noted that the new Tax Code is aimed at increasing the transparency and fairness of the tax system, as well as creating more favorable conditions for honest business practices.
