Today, a meeting on the topic “Developing local communities through the potential of non-governmental organizations” was held at the Ruhaniyat Center building with the participation of Deputy Akim of the district Dias Moldabayev.

The meeting was attended by Anar Zharylqasynkyzy Izden, Chairperson of the Association of Legal Entities “Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations of Kyzylorda Region,” the Head of the Civil Society and Youth Department of the Regional Department of Public Development, the Head of the Public Development Department of Zhalagash District, representatives of public organizations from Zhalagash and Syrdarya districts, as well as the Head of the District Department of State Revenues and chairpersons and members of non-governmental organizations of the district.

The meeting was opened by Dias Asylbekuly, who emphasized the importance of civil society institutions in local development.

During the meeting, several informative presentations were delivered on the formation of an anti-corruption culture, initiatives of rural NGOs, implementation of family and gender policy, increasing the financial independence of local self-government through the fourth-level budget, and the development of local community activities.

Currently, 48 non-governmental organizations are registered in the Karmakshy district. In addition, 28 primary organizations of veterans’ and women’s councils operate on a voluntary basis in rural areas.

Within the framework of the state social order, non-governmental organizations actively participate in addressing pressing social issues.

The meeting contributed to strengthening cooperation between society and government, fostering constructive dialogue, and promoting the joint implementation of common tasks.
