The Kazakh State Circus presented its international touring project in Almaty and announced the bright victories of its artists on the world stage. At a press conference held at the Regional Communications Service, the circus management and artists were pleased to announce the start of the tour of the Italian Belissimo program, as well as the fact that they had won gold and silver awards at the international festival in Tashkent.

The Belissimo program of the Italian circus, led by world-famous artists Flavio and Bruno Toni, is coming to Almaty on tour. The show skillfully combines technique, elegance, humor and Italian temperament, and has won the hearts of audiences in many countries.

"This time, Bengal and white tigers, as well as unique golden tigers for the first time in Central Asia, will perform in the arena of the Almaty circus. The program includes acrobats performing triple somersaults, equilibrists, jugglers and tightrope walkers, beautiful horse numbers, a clown show based on subtle Italian humor, intense music and impressive visual solutions," says circus director Maksat Zhaikov.

Flavio and Bruno Toni, representatives of a famous circus dynasty, are a unique circus team that has won five awards at the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival (including gold and silver). Their family-friendly program will appeal to both children and adults. Belissimo's tour in Almaty will start on February 14 and will last until March 24. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with world-class European circus culture.

According to Flavio Toni, a fourth-generation member of the family, the family deliberately chose Almaty for the tour.

"We came to this beautiful city specifically because we heard a lot about the Almaty circus in Europe. It is considered a strong and prestigious stage, so we wanted to try working here," the artist says.

From the very first performance, he was convinced that he had chosen Almaty correctly.

"The first shows took place last weekend, and we saw how the audience responded. The audience really liked the program, and that's what we needed the most," noted Flavio Toni.

Bruno Toni has been working with animals since he was 13 years old, and currently performs with a troupe of 11 tigers. He says the artists strive to create unique performances that will be remembered by the audience.

"When the audience comes to the circus, they want to forget their worries. We try to please them. And then we work not only with children, but also for adults, because inside every adult there is a child hiding," says Bruno Toni.

In addition to touring projects, the artists of the Kazakh State Circus proudly represented the country at the II International Youth Festival of Circus Art Silk Road. According to the results of the competition, the artists from Almaty received both gold and silver awards and returned home with great joy.

The gold medal was awarded to Jasmin Alshynbayeva and Avelina Guzey (led by Zarina Tapalova) for their pair ring act "Air Sphere". The silver medal was won by circus artist from Almaty, Salavatov Ali, for his act "Juggling Balls on the Floor" (led by Ravil Seidgariev).

"As part of the festival, the State Circus of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document provides for the development of joint projects, the exchange of artists, staging performances, and participation in international programs," says Maksat Zhaikov.

The victories at the festival and new partnership agreements once again proved the high level of the Kazakhstani circus school and its active place in the international cultural space.

Residents and guests of Almaty are invited to watch a unique international circus show of world class. This show will introduce European circus art. The performance will take place at the Almaty Circus from February 14 to March 24, you can get tickets on the Ticketon website.
