On February 18, a delegation of East Kazakhstan arrived in Barnaul. The visit program features a comprehensive agenda aimed at further strengthening interregional cooperation.

On the first day of the visit, the delegation toured the “Kompleks Agro” enterprise in Barnaul — one of the largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery beyond the Urals. The members became acquainted with modern solutions in grain storage and processing and discussed prospects for cooperation and exchange of experience.

Barnaul is not just a neighboring city, but a historic sister city of Ust-Kamenogorsk. We are connected by decades of friendship, as well as strong economic and humanitarian ties. Today, this cooperation is reaching a qualitatively new level of interaction.

As part of the visit, business meetings and negotiations with the leadership of Altai Krai are planned, along with a presentation of the investment and industrial potential of East Kazakhstan. The agenda also includes discussions of joint projects in tourism, education, culture, and industry.

Special attention will be given to the development of tourist routes and the expansion of cooperation between educational institutions.

We are confident that this visit will create additional opportunities for business collaboration, strengthen partnership relations, and provide new momentum for the socio-economic development of our regions.
