An event was held in the Bazarkakpa settlement of Shymkent city, where the akim of Enbekshy district and the chairman of the city maslikhat explained the draft new Constitution to residents.
The first to speak was Bakhadyr Narymbetov, a member of the Constitutional Commission and chairman of the city maslikhat. He focused on the significance of the changes provided for in the new draft Constitution. According to him, during the commission meetings, important issues that directly affect the future of the country were comprehensively discussed, and a number of positive decisions were made.
– The new version of the Constitution identifies human capital, education and science, and innovation as the main strategic directions of state policy. In the current global competition, the power of any state is measured not by natural resources, but by its intellectual potential. At the same time, the Constitution is aimed at ensuring stability and equality in a multi-ethnic, multi-confessional society by clarifying the boundaries between the state and religion and enshrining the principle of secularism, – said the chairman of the maslikhat.
During the event, a report was also presented on the work carried out by the city maslikhat in 2025. In addition, the district akim Dosbol Yesilbek also highlighted the main indicators of the work carried out in the Enbekshy district in the last year in infrastructure, improvement, road and transport sectors and other areas.
During the meeting, residents presented their suggestions and questions and received answers. The event was held in an open dialogue format, which allowed for strengthening the relationship between local authorities and the population.
