On February 25, a press conference was held at the venue of the Regional Communications Service of the East Kazakhstan region on the topic: “Results of the Department of State Revenues for East Kazakhstan Region in the provision of public services and execution of the revenue side of the state budget for 2025. Innovations in tax audits and transition to special tax regimes”.

During the event, the results of the Department of State Revenues for East Kazakhstan Region for 2025 were summarized.

Deputy Head of the Department, Sairankan Kabysh, informed media representatives about the implementation of the 2025 state budget revenue plan, the outcomes of public service delivery, as well as amendments introduced to tax legislation regarding tax audits and the application of special tax regimes.

Deputy Head Dinmukhamed Zhumanov presented information on new developments in the field of customs administration. In his speech, he outlined the results of fulfilling the plan for customs duties and tax revenues for 2025 and elaborated on the work carried out in the areas of currency and export control, as well as VAT administration within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.

According to representatives of the Department, during the reporting period priority attention was given to improving the quality and accessibility of public services, optimizing service delivery timelines, and introducing digital solutions into operational processes. The measures taken ensured the timely and full receipt of taxes and other mandatory payments into the budget.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Department representatives answered journalists’ questions and provided clarifications on current issues of tax legislation.
