State Revenue Committee Participates in the Argus “Kazakhstan and Central Asia Oil and Gas Market 2026” International Conference

On 18–19 June 2026, the VIII Argus Kazakhstan and Central Asia Oil and Gas Market 2026 International Conference was held in Almaty, bringing together representatives of government authorities, leading oil and gas companies, international price reporting agencies, and industry experts.
During the conference, representatives of the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan delivered a presentation entitled “Transfer Pricing Practices in Kazakhstan and Current Trends in the Global Oil Market.”
The presentation was delivered by Ibraiym Alibek Bekenovich, Director of the Specialized Department, and Karabayev Nurzhan Nasirdinovich, Deputy Head of the Transfer Pricing Division.
The presentation addressed key aspects of the application of Kazakhstan’s transfer pricing legislation, approaches to determining arm’s length prices in international transactions, and the impact of current global oil market trends on transfer pricing practices.
Conference participants discussed current challenges and prospects for the development of the oil and gas industry, global oil market dynamics, and exchanged practical experience in the field of transfer pricing.
Participation in such international forums contributes to strengthening professional dialogue between the public and private sectors and enhances the effective application of modern tax control instruments in the context of global economic change.
