Kazakh Delegation Pays Working Visit to Mongolia to Strengthen Trade and Economic Cooperation

Ulaanbaatar, June 17-19, 2026 – A Kazakh delegation headed by Aizhan Bizhanova, First Vice Minister of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid a working visit to Mongolia.

The purpose of the visit was to further develop Kazakh-Mongolian trade and economic cooperation, expand business ties, and explore new areas of investment and industrial partnership.

As part of the visit, meetings were held with Nomtoibayar Nyamtaishir, Deputy Prime Minister of Mongolia; Damdinnayam Gongor, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources; and Batkhuu Idesh, State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Development.

The parties discussed prospects for bilateral cooperation, the development of transport and logistics routes, the implementation of joint investment projects, the expansion of mutual trade, the removal of barriers for business, and cooperation in the financial, industrial, and mining sectors.
