Bucharest, 10 August 2026 – A meeting between Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Amangeldy Sainov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania Oana Țoiu was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania, during which the Ambassador presented copies of his Letters of Credence.

Oana Țoiu congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment to the responsible diplomatic post and expressed the Romanian side’s readiness to provide assistance and support in his diplomatic activities.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakhstan–Romania cooperation in the political, trade and economic, as well as cultural and humanitarian spheres, noting the positive dynamics of political dialogue and the increased intensity of contacts between the two countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the sides reaffirmed their interest in maintaining regular contacts and working jointly to expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
