Riyadh, August 10, 2026 – Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Madiyar Menilbekov met with Interior Ministry Undersecretary of Saudi Arabia Khalid Al-Battal.

During the meeting, the parties discussed aspects regarding the development of bilateral cooperation between the Ministries of Interior of the two countries. In particular, they reviewed the progress of bilateral documents prepared for signing and the schedule for upcoming mutual visits.

Additionally, the Saudi side was informed that the Agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and service/special passports will officially enter into force in the second half of August this year.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in the legal and security fields.
