Starting from 2026, mandatory requirements for cash register receipts have been updated to automate fiscal accounting. Receipts must now additionally include: the name of the product in strict accordance with the Product Code Nomenclature; the product identification code; and digital identification means for goods subject to mandatory labeling.

Entrepreneurs will no longer need to enter product names manually — it will be sufficient to scan the barcode. All data has already been entered into the state database and is automatically retrieved through the services of fiscal data operators.

The State Revenue Department for Almaty recommends checking cash register equipment and, if necessary, updating the software through cash register suppliers or fiscal data operators.

Please be reminded that issuing a receipt that does not comply with the approved requirements entails administrative liability.
