On September 8, 2026, as part of career guidance activities at the Municipal State Institution "Secondary School No. 46," a meeting was held with 11th-grade students from schools in the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk, as well as the Glubokoye and Ulan districts, and our fellow countryman, a graduate of the "Bilim-Innovation" Lyceum, a native of the village of Glubokoye in East Kazakhstan Region — Igor Ganichev.

Igor graduated from MIT and the University of California, Berkeley, worked at Google, and founded his own startup. Today, he is engaged in the development of artificial intelligence technologies. In an open dialogue format, the graduates learned about Igor's journey, education, IT career, and the opportunities of the modern technological world.

For 200 schoolchildren of East Kazakhstan Region, this meeting was particularly relevant during the period of active development of artificial intelligence and digitalization in Kazakhstan. The story of our fellow countryman is a vivid example of how a big dream and knowledge can lead to achievements.
