Prospects for Cooperation between Kazakhstan and the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank Discussed in Greece 08.06.2025

A working meeting was held with the staff of the Alatau Akimat of Almaty 08.06.2025
In order to promote the "Law and Order" narrative and strengthen the anti-corruption culture, the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency (Anti-Corruption Service) of Almaty organized a working meeting. About 300 people took part in the event. The meeting was held at the site of the Center for Innovative Creativity of schoolchildren in the Alatau district of Almaty. A bright flash mob dedicated to the Day of State Symbols was held in Astana Square 08.06.2025

BRICS Parliamentary Forum Opens in Brazil 08.06.2025
Brasilia, June 4, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Brazil Bolat Nussupov took part in the plenary session on the occasion of the opening of the 11th Parliamentary Forum of BRICS Member and Partner Countries, held under the chairmanship of Brazil.The event was organized by the Federal Senate and the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress of Brazil. Trans-Caspian International Transport Route Development Discussed in Moldova 08.06.2025
Chisinau, June 4, 2025 – Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova Almat Aidarbekov visited the Giurgiulești International Free Port.During the visit, the Kazakh diplomat familiarized himself with the port’s infrastructure, logistics conditions and operational activities, and held talks with the General Director of Danube Logistics Mr. Mathias von Tucher, ports’managing company.The sides discussed opportunities to enhance collaboration between Kazakhstan and Moldova in transit and logistics, including the potential use of the Giurgiulești Port for the export of Kazakhstani goods.Kazakh Ambassador emphasized the steady and positive dynamics of bilateral economic relations. In 2024 bilateral trade grew by 75%, exceeding $65 million. Нe stressed that this growth reflects the increasing interest of the business communities of both countries in building commercial ties.In this context, Almat Aidarbekov outlined Kazakhstan’s efforts to develop the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR). He underlined the importance of the Giurgiulești Port as a potential logistical hub within the TITR corridor. In his view, the port could serve as an additional route for delivering Kazakhstani products to European Union markets.The Giurgiulești International Free Port is Moldova’s only port with access to the Black Sea. The port area enjoys the status of a free economic zone until 2030. The regional competition "The best teacher-2025" was held 08.06.2025
On May 30, 2025, at the initiative of the Department of Culture, the regional competition "The best teacher – 2025" was held. The purpose of the competition is to enhance the creative potential of teachers and promote professional skills. The competition was attended by 9 teachers of city and district language learning centers who presented their methodological developments. The participants competed in the following stages: "Video tutorial" (posting video material on social networks with a set of marks and comments), "Question-answer" and "Situational tasks" (conducting classes with a trial group). According to the results of the competition: The Grand Prix was awarded to Gulzhazira Zhumakanovna Baymaganbetova, a teacher of the state language at the Arkalyk Language Learning Center. On May 26, as part of the implementation of the state language policy, a meeting of representatives of pharmacy chains with authorized bodies was held, organized by the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region. During the meeting, issues of quality and accessibility of presentation of information about medicines, advertising and reference materials in the official language in the pharmacy sector were discussed. The issue of providing high-quality customer service in the Kazakh language was also raised. The event was attended by representatives of the Department for Consumer Protection of Kostanay region and the Department of the Committee for Medical and Pharmaceutical Control in Kostanay region. The parties stressed that the development of the state language is a common task, and expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation in this area. The Third Meeting of the Kazakhstan-Belgium Business Council Held in Brussels 08.06.2025

Astana, May 29, 2025 – Within the framework of the Astana International Forum (AIF-2025), the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yerlan Akkenzhenov, met with the Minister of Energy, Mining and Minerals of the Republic of North Macedonia, Sanja Bozhinovska.The parties discussed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector, with an emphasis on the development of renewable energy sources (RES).Akkenzhenov noted Kazakhstan's active development of the green energy sector and invited partners from North Macedonia to participate in projects.
