Seminar on clarification of the new Tax Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan 05.11.2025
In Kokshetau, a seminar for taxpayers was held at the Dostar House of Culture with the participation of Bauyrzhan Shaikenov, Deputy Head of the Department of State Revenues in Akmola Region. The seminar addressed the issues of reducing the number of special tax regimes to three categories. The innovation will simplify tax accounting and facilitate tax administration for businesses. Self-employed citizens are given the opportunity to legally receive income of up to 4080 MCI per year without the need to pay individual income tax, limited to social contributions in the amount of 4% of income. For small businesses, a special tax regime has been established with a maximum rate of 4%, decreasing to 2% if certain conditions are met. These measures are aimed at reducing the burden on entrepreneurs and increasing the transparency of the taxation system. The new Tax Code significantly simplifies the activities of entrepreneurs, reduces the volume of reporting by about a third, the declaration is submitted once a year. Control over compliance with the rules is carried out through an automated risk assessment system; they stopped automatically blocking accounts of enterprises with insignificant debts. All these measures make doing business more comfortable and stimulate economic development. Thus, the new tax rules contribute to creating favorable conditions for the development of the private sector, minimizing administrative obstacles and increasing confidence in the tax system of Kazakhstan.During the event, representatives of the Department of State Revenues provided detailed answers to topical questions.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd-akmola/press/news/details/1099147?lang=kk
