The third (regional) stage of the Republican Olympiad in general education subjects for students of grades 9-11 (12) in rural schools begins today. More than 12 thousand winners of the regional tour participate in it. The Council of Deputies of Maslikhats was established under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It is an advisory body for resolving issues in the field of education, which includes about 190 deputies of maslikhats at all levels. Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov visited the site where the WorldSkills Kazakhstan 2024 national competitions are held among college students in terms of competencies in industry-specific working professions. Since September 1, the scholarship of college students has been increased by 50% from last year's level.
