Large-scale Republican campaign "people's lawyer" was held 03.11.2025

The national action "People's Lawyer" took place 03.11.2025
As part of the implementation of the "Law and Order" ideology, on October 31, 2025, the national action "People's Lawyer" took place. The purpose of the campaign is to relieve social tension by increasing the legal literacy of the population, solving pressing issues and providing free legal assistance. The action was held with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, organized by the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Justice, and an online publication Zakon.kz , PRG information system and online publication Prosud.kz . As part of the campaign, citizens received qualified legal assistance from experienced lawyers and lawyers who provided consultations free of charge. In Kostanay region, more than 800 citizens applied for legal advice as part of the "People's Lawyer" campaign. The President attended an international forum of strategic partners in the field of education and science. During the event, representatives of the global higher education space discussed new areas of cooperation with Kazakhstan. Speaking about the impact of artificial intelligence on the labor market, Nunzio Quacquarelli, president and founder of the international rating agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), noted the increase in the number of Kazakhstani universities in the QS ranking. According to him, Kazakhstan is making significant progress in internationalization and scientific competitiveness. Five of our universities are also included in the list of the best universities in the world, presented by the Times Higher Education publication. According to Nunzio Quacquarelli, QS intends to cooperate with Kazakhstan in creating a model for predicting future professions and developing an economy based on knowledge and innovation. Professor Wendy Larner, President of Cardiff University (UK), has highlighted the strategic importance of the partnership with Kazakhstan in the field of education and artificial intelligence. She said that Cardiff University is a member of the prestigious Russell Group and is the first university to open a campus in Kazakhstan. The International Forum of Strategic Partners in Education and Science was held with the participation of the Head of State. As part of the event, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, made a report on specific measures aimed at deeply transforming the national and global education ecosystem. According to the minister, a network of 40 branches of foreign universities is being created in Kazakhstan. 85 percent of them are focused on high-tech areas - artificial intelligence, computer engineering, cybersecurity, natural and technical sciences, nuclear physics and other popular areas. This initiative will allow to obtain high-quality education of international level in the country, attract investment and develop academic tourism. Today, 31,500 foreign students are studying in our country. This is a historical record. For the first time, the number of students from Asian countries has exceeded that from the CIS countries. It is planned to increase the number of foreign students to 100 thousand by 2029. During the forum, it was noted that a Council of Strategic Partners was established. The Council is aimed at ensuring institutional interaction and jointly addressing key challenges. To date, three meetings of the Council have been held.

Law and Order: Police in Shymkent presented a cartoon about the law for children 01.11.2025
The first part of the animated film "BalaZan - from childhood to the law", shot at the initiative of the Police Department and with the support of the city administration, was presented to the public in the Central Park of Shymkent. The premiere was shown in the open air, on a large LED screen, and more than 500 children attended the event. The project is aimed at forming the legal culture of the younger generation, preventing juvenile delinquency, and promoting the ideology of "Law and Order." The cartoon aims to convey to children the importance of law, justice, and public order in an interesting and understandable way. The main character of the animated film is Barys, a character who represents the independence and strength of Kazakhstan. He teaches children the importance of such qualities as honesty, respect, and following the rules. As part of the premiere, various interactive and educational events were organized for children. Participants took part in a quiz on traffic rules, got acquainted with the work of dog handlers and forensic scientists, as well as the work of special forces.
