Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan Receives the “Ambassador of the Year” Award 27.11.2025
Islamabad, 26 November 2025 – The capital of Pakistan hosted the 7th annual «Global Ambassador Awards» ceremony, recognizing the achievements of heads of diplomatic missions, offices of international organizations, and representatives of the business community for the year 2025.The event was organized by Pakistan’s reputable magazine “The Diplomatic Insight” (Diplomatic Insight Group, DIG) in collaboration with the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies.Among the distinguished guests were H.E. Mr. Murtaza Solangi, Spokesperson to the President of Pakistan, and H.E. Mr. Huzaifa Rehman, Minister of State for National Heritage and Culture and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister.This year, a special category “Ambassador of the Year” was introduced for the first time. To identify the nominees, comprehensive surveys were conducted among representatives of Pakistan’s political, official, diplomatic, business, and academic circles.Based on the results of these assessments, the title “Ambassador of the Year” was awarded to H.E. Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Pakistan, in recognition of his substantial contribution to strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and Pakistan.It is noteworthy that the diplomatic corps in Islamabad comprises more than 120 diplomatic missions and offices of international organizations. Declaration of cars imported from third countries In accordance with paragraph 1 of Article 343 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Customs Regulation in the Republic of Kazakhstan" (hereinafter referred to as the Code), vehicles for personal use transported across the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union (hereinafter referred to as the EAEU) in any way, except for vehicles for personal use registered in the member States, are subject to customs declaration. The EAEU. According to paragraph 3 of Article 343 of the Code, the customs declaration of goods for personal use, including those placed under the customs procedure of customs transit in accordance with Article 346 of the Code, is carried out using a passenger customs declaration (PTD).In accordance with paragraph 7 of Article 339 of the Code, the provisions of this chapter do not apply to goods transported across the customs border of the EAEU by individuals that are not classified as goods for personal use. The documents confirming the export of excisable goods are:- an agreement (contract) for the supply of exported excisable goods;- the goods declaration or its copy certified by the customs authority, with the mark of the customs authority that issued the excisable goods in the customs procedure of export.In the case of export of excisable goods in the customs procedure of export through the system of trunk pipelines or using the procedure of incomplete periodic declaration, the export is confirmed by a complete declaration of goods marked by the customs authority that carried out the customs declaration.;- copies of shipping documents with the stamp of the customs authority located at the checkpoint on the customs border of the Eurasian Economic Union.In the case of export of excisable goods in the customs procedure of export through the main pipeline system, instead of copies of shipping documents, an act of acceptance and delivery of goods is submitted.;- payment documents and bank statement confirming the actual receipt of proceeds from the sale of excisable goods to the taxpayer's bank accounts in the Republic of Kazakhstan, opened in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd-kostanay/press/news/details/1113626?lang=kk
