The public service «Registration of a person engaged in private practice» is available on the eGov.kz portal. It allows citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan to apply for registration as a private bailiff, notary public, lawyer, or mediator entirely online. Registration of persons engaged in private practice is performed for the purpose of tax administration and applies to individuals conducting licensed or certified professional activities.The service includes registration, updates to registration data, de-registration, and the subsequent publication of information on the website (www.kgd.gov.kz).To get the service, the user needs to:log in to the eGov.kz portal and go to the «For Businesses» section – «Registration and development of business» – «Registration and liquidation of business»;select the service called «Registration of private bailiffs, notary publics, lawyers, mediators» and click «Request Online»;specify the reason for submitting the application and select the type of registration;specify the number and date of issue of the license for the right to practice law, perform notarial activities, or execute enforcement documents;specify the type of property and provide the required information;sign the service using one of the available signing methods;in your personal account (in «History of Obtained Services» section) familiarize with a notification on application processing status, which will be sent within the specified time.The service delivery period is 1 working day from the date of submission of the tax application via the eGov.kz portal. Starting from August 11, 2025, the procedure for obtaining digital signature keys will change. Users were previously free to choose how to obtain their DS-either online or through an in-person visit to the Citizen Service Center. Today, however, the process has shifted predominantly to a remote format. A personal visit to the CSC is now only permitted if the biometric identification system fails to verify the user's identity after multiple attempts.  Previously, DS keys could have been obtained either online or by visiting Citizen Service Centers. The procedure has now been fully transitioned to an online format. To obtain DS keys, the user needs to submit an application through theeGov.kz portal or the website of the National Certification Authority pki.gov .kz, and complete biometric identification via a facial recognition system. If biometric identification is successful, DS keys are issued without the need for a personal visit to the CSC.If the system fails to complete identification – for example, due to a missing photo in the database or a technical error – the user will have the opportunity to retry the process. The system allows up to five biometric verification attempts. Only after that does it become possible to apply for a DS through a CSC and complete identification with a CSC operator, providing the required set of documents.It is important to note that without passing biometric verification, applying through the CSC is not possible. The operator verifies the information using the IIN and, if there are not five failed biometric attempts, will be unable to provide the service. Access to submission through the CSC is automatically granted only after all online attempts have been exhausted.For citizens without access to the Internet or a computer, biometric identification can be completed in the self-service areas of the CSC. If the user successfully completes identification on the spot, the keys are issued online without the involvement of a CSC operator.The shift toward a predominantly remote format is also supported by statistics. Since the beginning of 2025, more than 14.9 million digital signature keys have been issued in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Of these, 92.25% were obtained through remote identification, while only 7.75% were issued via Citizen Service Centers. These figures indicate a high demand for online service and a steady trend toward the digitalization of public services.The new feature is designed to enhance the level of information security. A DS is equivalent to a handwritten signature and carries full legal weight; therefore, access to DS keys must be strictly limited to the owner only. On August 9, 2025, a large-scale cleanup was organized in Shymkent as part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" environmental campaign to form an ecological culture and improve the sanitary conditions of the city. The event was attended by akimats of Abay, Al-Farabi, Enbekshi, Karatau and Turan districts, municipal institutions, public organizations, business entities, volunteers, district activists and city residents. Cleaning work was carried out in the "Shymysti" microdistrict in the Abay district. Roads, sidewalks, irrigation systems were cleaned on Al-Farabi Street and other streets, grass was mowed, lawns were cut, and other sanitary works were carried out. About 400 people participated in the clean-up, and 18 pieces of equipment were mobilized. As a result, 34 tons of garbage were removed. In the Al-Farabi district, dead trees and branches were cut, grass was mowed, and the areas were cleaned of garbage. 414 people participated in the cleaning work, and 14 special equipment was used. In total, 32 tons of garbage were removed and taken to the landfill.
