Among the ranks of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan serves a three-time world champion in kettlebell lifting, Yerkebulan Keldibayev. He is stationed in military unit 5571 in Almaty, named after Hero of the Soviet Union, Guards Colonel Baurzhan Momyshuly.Originally from Turkistan, Private Yerkebulan Keldibayev is a highly decorated athlete: three-time world and Asian champion, ten-time champion of Kazakhstan, and holder of the title Master of Sport. From a young age, he was inspired by the history and heroic legacy of Qajymuqan Munaitpasov, admiring his immense strength and striving to become a worthy son of his people. Yerkebulan fulfilled that dream in the sports arena, where he forged his character and willpower, and today he continues to hone them in military service.He was warmly welcomed into the military unit by his comrades-in-arms. His strength of spirit, hard work, and humility earned him the nickname “Qajymuqan” — in honor of the legendary batyr, a symbol of resilience and great power. Even in his free time, Yerkebulan does not part with kettlebells, continuing his training because true strength requires constant effort. In Taraz, Guardsmen Provided First Aid to a Child and Detained a Teenager With a Knife 14.10.2025
Recently, servicemen of military unit 5513 of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, who were on duty to protect public order, demonstrated vigilance and professionalism in two separate incidents on the same day. They provided assistance to a nine-year-old boy with a head injury and detained a teenager found carrying a knife.The first incident took place in the Saltanat residential area. A patrol unit noticed a boy with heavy bleeding from a head wound. According to preliminary information, while playing on a playground, the child collided with a swing and struck a curb.The patrol commander, Junior Sergeant Asylkhan Myrzabek, together with his subordinates, quickly provided first aid: the guardsmen stopped the bleeding, dressed the wound, and called an ambulance. Until the doctors arrived, they monitored the boy’s condition, ensured his safety, and gave him psychological support. The arriving medics provided the necessary assistance and transported the boy to the hospital together with his mother.Later in the evening, around 10 p.m., while patrolling the Karatau residential area, servicemen Junior Sergeant Yerkegali Zhiyembek and Privates Bakhtiyar Turanov and Yerlan Zharylgap noticed a suspicious teenager near the Presidential Park. Best Dog Handlers of the National Guard Determined in Petropavlovsk 14.10.2025
In military unit 6637, located in Petropavlovsk, individual and team championships in service dog triathlon were held among the dog handlers of the National Guard. The competition brought together the best specialists of the canine service and their four-legged partners from all regional commands and military units of the law enforcement troops.The aim of the championship was to determine the strongest, assess the readiness of service dogs, exchange experience, and raise the professional level of personnel. Over the course of a week, participants demonstrated their skills in three disciplines: search service, detection of narcotics, and detection of explosives.According to the results of the individual competition, the champions were:Corporal Maulen Kairbayev with service dog Ayza (military unit 3514, Regional Command “Shygys”) — winner in search service.Sergeant Bolat Alzhanov with service dog Elza (military unit 5573) — winner in explosives detection.Corporal Rustam Isabekov with service dog Illada (military unit 3660, Regional Command “Ontustik”) — winner in narcotics detection.In the team standings, the dog handlers of Regional Command “Shygys” claimed first place. The significant contribution of a citizen was honored 14.10.2025
The sacred land of Karmakshy is a place where the unity of the people and the labor of individuals are always valued and highly respected. In line with this noble tradition, a ceremonial event was organized in the district to honor a local citizen who has made a substantial contribution to the development of his homeland.Today, an official reception was held on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of regional Maslikhat deputy, “Honorary Citizen” of Karmakshy district, and director of Zhanazhol LLP, Orynbasar Utepuly Tulepov.The solemn reception was hosted by the Akim of Karmakshy district, Zhandos Erkinbek, who expressed deep respect and recognition to the distinguished guest.The event was also attended by deputies of the Kyzylorda Regional Maslikhat – Bauyrzhan Tursynbayuly, Zhankeldi Oyshyuly, Erlan Pirtazayuly – as well as the head of the regional Maslikhat office, Zhandos Sermaganbetuly.In his congratulatory speech, district Akim Zhandos Erkinbek highlighted Orynbasar Utepuly’s significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the district:“You are a man who has worked with honor throughout your life and made a special contribution to the prosperity of your native land. Your diligence in the field of agriculture and your care for the people are an example for the younger generation. This milestone anniversary is a vivid testimony to your work and service to the people,” he said.Orynbasar Tulepov has devoted many years to agriculture. Since 1979, he has worked in the Engels collective farm as a machine operator, electrical engineer, and chief engineer, and for the past nine years he has been successfully managing Zhanazhol LLP. Kazakhstan's Foreign Minister Took Part in a Working Meeting of Foreign Ministers of CSTO Member States 14.10.2025
New York, September 25, 2025 – On the sidelines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, took part in a working meeting of foreign ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states.The participants exchanged views on topical issues on the agenda of the anniversary session of the UN General Assembly and discussed priority areas of cooperation between the CSTO and the UN.Minister Nurtleu informed his colleagues about Kazakhstan's position on various aspects of the CSTO's activities and shared his vision for the further development of this regional structure. Presentation of Kazakhstan’s Investment Potential in Athens in the Context of the President’s Address 14.10.2025
Athens, 25 September 2025 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Greece hosted a conference dedicated to the prospects for developing investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Greece. Organized jointly with the Kazakhstan–Greek Business Council and «NOTICE Content & Services» the event served as a platform to present Kazakhstan’s investment and economic potential to the Greek business community and to discuss new avenues of bilateral partnership.Representatives of Greek government agencies, business associations and companies from both countries took part in the discussion. Welcoming remarks were delivered by the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Greece, H.E. Timur Sultangozhin, representatives of Enterprise Greece and the Co-Chairman of the Kazakhstan–Greek Business Council, Mr. Thomas Lamnidis. The Regional Representative of «Kazakh Invest» in Europe, Ms. Ulbossyn Sarybayeva, presented an up-to-date overview of investment opportunities and instruments for supporting foreign investors in Kazakhstan.Special attention of the participants was devoted to the key provisions of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s State-of-the-Nation Address «Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence» focusing on further digitalization and innovative development, economic diversification, enhancement of the country’s investment attractiveness, development of transport-logistics and energy infrastructure, as well as deepening of political reforms.The Ambassador underlined Kazakhstan’s readiness to provide targeted incentives and comprehensive support for high-tech projects, knowledge transfer and joint initiatives with Greek partners, particularly in agriculture, renewable energy, ICT, pharmaceuticals and tourism.
