Results of the regional competition “Best Abai Study Classroom” 14.10.2025
On September 29, 2025, Örken East Kazakhstan Regional Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Education Development of Education Administration of East Kazakhstan region held the regional competition “Best Abai Study Classroom”.The goal of the competition was to assess the current state of the classrooms for Abai studies, enhance the significance of the elective course “Abai Studies” (Abaitanu), facilitate the exchange of teaching practices, and share best practices. The competition was attended by teachers of the Kazakh language and literature from schools with the Kazakh and Russian languages of instruction. A total of 9 submissions were reviewed from the following districts and cities:Ust-Kamenogorsk, Zaisan, Glubokoe, Katon-Karagai, Samar, Tarbagatai, Ulan, Ulken Naryn, and Shemonaiha. The districts that did not submit their works: Altai, Markakol, Kurchum and Ridder town.The works of the participants were evaluated by the jury.Following the results of the competition, the awards went to:First Degree Diploma - M.T. Kabdiyeva, a teacher of the Kazakh language and literature of Abai Secondary School of Education Department of Samar district;Second Degree Diploma - A. Alibekova, A. Construction of an Agro-Industrial Complex for Deep Processing of Grain and Leguminous Crops Launched in Astana 14.10.2025
Mayor of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek Announces Construction of a New Agro-Industrial Complex in the CapitalOn his Instagram page, Mayor of Astana Zhenis Kassymbek reported on the construction of a new integrated agro-industrial complex in the city."All key economic indicators show positive growth dynamics in the capital. Investment in fixed assets over the past seven months amounted to 1.2 trillion tenge, which is 42.1% higher compared to the same period last year. These include projects in manufacturing, healthcare, education, transport, logistics, and other sectors.This year, 55 investment projects are planned to be commissioned, with a total investment volume of 300 billion tenge. These projects will create 3,600 new jobs.With the support of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, construction has begun in Astana on an integrated agro-industrial complex for the deep processing of grain and leguminous crops. The project is being implemented by Kazak Protein, established by Turkey’s Tiryaki Agro Holding in cooperation with Kazakhstan’s Grain Consortium LLP and ADOtex LLP. The total investment volume amounts to USD 320 million, and around 400 new jobs will be created.Completion of the two construction phases is scheduled for 2028. The first phase, focusing on deep wheat processing, will be completed in 2027, and the second phase, focused on legumes, in 2028.The production capacity will reach 250,000 tons of wheat and 80,000 tons of legumes per year. The complex will produce gluten, starch, lysine, compound feed, plant protein isolates, and other products. Kazakhstan–Romania Economic Relations Discussed at the Presidential Administration 14.10.2025

The Karaganda region holds the position of one of the leaders of e-commerce in Kazakhstan. Thanks to the development of the domestic Teez marketplace and the active involvement of local businesses, the region is demonstrating high rates of retail digitalization. Today, almost every fifth online order in the country is in Karaganda.Teez is a rapidly growing Kazakhstani online trading platform with a minimum delivery time of just one day. It started working in September 2024. Today, representatives of the Akimat, together with contractors, conducted an on-site inspection of city streets to check the pace and quality of road work.In 2025, 90 sections of roads with a total length of 45 kilometers are being renovated in the city. To date, more than 95% of the planned work has been completed.The reconstruction of Syanov Street in the area between Gogol and Rabochaya Streets has been fully completed, a two—year project.In the Zhana Kala area, work has been completed on Frolov Street: the roadway has been expanded from 7 to 14 meters, two-way traffic has been organized, street lighting has been installed and 48 parking spaces have been equipped.Along Narimanovskaya Street, the reconstruction of the section between Abaya and Altynsarin will begin next year after adjustments to the design estimates. The road will be widened from 7 to 10.5 meters, engineering networks will be updated, lighting will be installed and 66 parking spaces will be equipped.Work continues on Al-Farabi Avenue and Gogol Street: contractors are laying new pavement, installing curbs and sidewalks.
