Of these, 116,579 applications totaling USD17.60 million were processed for housing improvements, and 71,663 applications totaling USD10.65 million were processed for education.As a reminder, recipients of targeted savings (TS) can use the entire amount or a portion of it, with any unused balance remaining in the targeted savings account (TSA).The most popular sub-purposes for using funds to improve housing conditions were: replenishing a deposit into housing construction savings for further accumulation (113,944 applications were completed for a total of USD17.23 million), making a down payment to obtain a mortgage loan for the purchase of housing - 899 applications for a total of USD126.70 thousand, and acquiring housing through civil law transactions (final settlement) - 643 applications for a total of USD86.29 thousand.The most popular sub-goals in terms of paying for education were: payment for educational services of educational organizations located in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in installments (for each academic period or academic year) or in full at one time (for the entire period of study) (64,877 applications were completed for a total of USD9.81 million), replenishment of an educational savings deposit under an agreement on an educational savings deposit (4,776 applications were completed for a total of USD580.04 thousand), payment for educational services of foreign educational organizations in installments (for each academic period or academic year) or in full at one time (for the entire period of study) (1,633 applications were completed for a total of USD214.72 thousand) Detailed information on targeted savings payments for the purpose of improving housing conditions and/or paying for education, broken down by authorized operators and regions, can be found on the website enpf.kz.As a reminder, under the National Fund for Children program, 50% of the investment income from the National Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan is distributed annually among children of the Republic of Kazakhstan citizens born in 2006 or later. All recipients of the National Fund were awarded USD100.52 in 2023 and USD129.38 in 2024. Children who received their first National Fund funds in 2023, with the exception of those born in 2006, were awarded investment income of USD3.04 this year. Vice Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Botagoz Zhaxelekova participated in the 47th session of the WIPO Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights (SCCR) 11.12.2025
In her opening statement she expressed gratitude to the WIPO leadership for the productive organization of the session and for the support provided to Kazakhstan’s ongoing reforms in the area of intellectual property.Delegation of the Republic of Kazakhstan presented to the session participants an overview of national reforms, including the rollout of the Unified Digital Platform (UDP), a tool designed to enhance transparency, accountability and efficiency in the collective rights management system. The platform was also introduced to international professional associations interested in modern digital solutions and in advancing transparency in collective management processes.On the sidelines of the WIPO meetings discussions were held with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia as well as representatives of Brazil and Saudi Arabia. The parties exchanged views on strengthening cooperation, contemporary approaches to the digitalization of copyright and Indonesia’s initiative to develop international solutions for the fair distribution of remuneration in the digital environment.Negotiations were also conducted with the WIPO leadership. During the meeting with WIPO Deputy Director General Sylvie Forbin Kazakhstani experience in digitalizing collective management organizations was presented. Ms. Forbin emphasized the significance of the reforms being implemented by Kazakhstan and expressed interest in the further advancement of the project, underscoring its innovative nature and its importance for the international professional community.Working discussions were also held with Habip Asan, Director of the Department for Transition and Developed Countries, Glenn McStravick, Director of the Application Incubator and Michel Allain, Senior Copyright Expert. Creation of Municipal Fairs Considered in Almaty 10.12.2025
Almaty Akim (Mayor) Darkhan Satybaldy held a meeting where the project for the construction of municipal fairs in the city was reviewed.Several architectural and functional solutions are currently being developed. Preliminary locations for the placement of the new fairs have been identified in each district. In parallel, the modernization of the existing pavilions of "SPK Almaty" is planned, taking into account modern requirements.The initiative is aimed at eliminating intermediaries and creating comfortable conditions for farmers.The project will be finalized jointly with experts and relevant services.
