Unified Digital Platform: Key Changes for Authors and Users 22.11.2025
On November 21, the Subcommittee on Culture and Creative Industries of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” presented the main provisions of the newly adopted amendments on intellectual property. The meeting was attended by members of the Senate and Mazhilis of the Parliament of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Ministry of Justice and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.The central innovation is the Unified Digital Platform for Collective Rights Management. It will record the use of works, agreements, and royalty calculations in a single system, ensuring transparency and convenience for both authors and users.According to Vice Minister of Justice Botagoz Zhaxelekova, the platform will make the collection and distribution of royalties fair and transparent.More than 200 representatives of the creative industry, regional chambers, theaters, philharmonics, authors, and businesses took part in the discussion. Meeting Between Kazakhstan’s Minister of Justice Erlan Sarsembayev and Estonia’s Minister of Justice and Digital Development Liisa Pakosta 17.11.2025

Between the Ministries of Justice of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, a cooperation program has been signed 16.11.2025
14–15 November 2025, during the state visit of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.
