For the first time in Karaganda region, a modern resuscitation of world standards has appeared 21.02.2025
The modernization of the Regional Clinical Hospital in Karaganda continues. Recently, the operating room and the wards of the surgical center were equipped according to European standards. And now a state-of-the-art intensive care unit, operating on the principle of a clean room complex, is being opened. This project was implemented for the first time in the region, and it was financed from the regional budget. The governor of Karaganda region, Yermaganbet Bolekpayev, visited the clinic and assessed the conditions created to save patients. The third floor, which previously housed ordinary wards, was completely rebuilt in one of the clinic buildings. An elevator shaft was found in the building and a lift was restored, which leads directly from the reception room to the intensive care unit.A highly sterile microclimate with multi-stage filtration and disinfection of the air, hermetic doors and windows with blinds glued to a glass package. Intensive care wards are a kind of capsules isolated from the external environment. Such an isolator was created. This allows patients to be maximally protected from infections and not to worsen their condition. The beds are functional, each of them has a console - a separate supply of oxygen, air, special filters, etc. There is a monitoring station for round-the-clock monitoring of patients. The floor covering is made of conductive material. They even paid attention to the positive emotions of patients. There are paintings on the walls, selected according to the recommendations of psychologists. Curtains between the beds and individual lighting are provided for personal space.- The peculiarity of this department is that a complex of sealed clean rooms has been created here, implemented due to special enclosures and panels with a bactericidal effect. Another important point is that a stream of clean sterile air is supplied to each ward specifically for this department. That is, the most favorable conditions are created here for the care of intensive care patients. One of our tasks was to minimize all risks and ensure patient safety, - says Rinat Gatin, advisor to the director of the OKA.The condition of medical workers has not been forgotten either. Comfortable offices have been created for doctors and nurses. The uniqueness of the project lies in the fact that during the transition to world standards, it was necessary to take into account the features of the building built in 1975.OKA has plans to move forward. Projects are being developed to modernize the intensive care unit of the therapeutic center and upgrade the perinatal center.Ermaganbet Bolekpayev noted that a lot of work has been done to provide assistance to patients from all regions of the region. But the main task is to improve primary medical care, he noted. Also, this year the fleet of ambulances in the region will be updated.
