Press tour of agro-industrial enterprises in Kyzylorda region organized 21.02.2025
As part of a press tour jointly organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the regional akimat, media representatives got acquainted with the work of the region's agro-industrial complex enterprises.Journalists visited the rice processing and salt production plants of Magzhan and K LLP. Modern enterprises are equipped with high-tech equipment and are fully automated.Zhan-Aray LLP is engaged in rice production, compound feed production, fruit and vegetable processing and storage. The plant produces 80 tons of compound feed per day and processes up to 150 tons of rice. The enterprise's products are exported not only to Kazakhstan, but also to Turkey, Iraq, Russia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus and other countries. Also, a 4,000-ton vegetable storage facility will allow maintaining stable prices for socially important products in the off-season.The greenhouse farm of Kazagromir LLP will grow 400-500 tons of cucumbers per year starting in 2020. Vegetables will be delivered to Kyzylorda region, Turkestan, Shymkent, Almaty and Astana. In the future, it is planned to grow tomatoes, bell peppers and other crops.The region is in the lead in the number of “Village Amanat” projects.For example, in the industrial zone in the village of Besaryk, Syrdarya district, 13 business incubators for the production of semi-finished products and confectionery products operate within the framework of the “Abay Daulet” LLP program. It is planned to open such business incubators in 3-4 villages in each district of the region.A workshop for the production of tomato paste, adjika, salads, canned watermelons and melons has been opened in Shieli district. Products are delivered to the Kyzylorda region, the cities of Astana, Karaganda and Almaty.Also, a sausage workshop was launched within the framework of the program, which produces 600-700 kg of products per day. The workshop is equipped with modern Russian equipment, and raw materials from its own farm are used.It should be noted that within the framework of the "Auyl Amanaty" program, it is planned to implement 815 projects worth 5.5 billion tenge in the region in 2025.In 2024, the "Turlybayev Doszhan" IC plant will be launched in the region, where up to 150 tons of rice will be processed per day. Conference on preparation for regional climate summit 21.02.2025
A meeting on preparations for the Regional Climate Summit (Summit) to be held in 2026 was held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The regional youth forum "Year of Working Professions: Opening New Opportunities" was officially opened in Bolashaq Saraiy in Kokshetau. A New Stadium to Be Opened in the Country of Syr 21.02.2025

In 2022-2023, about 4,000 apartments were put into operation, while last year more than 2,500 housing keys were handed over.In addition, the region took 2nd place in the republic in the purchase of housing for socially vulnerable groups with an indicator of 1,948 apartments.It should be noted that construction work in the region is 41 percent higher than the republican average. New social facilities are being built in the region. Last year, 69 new buildings were built, 25 of which are educational, 16 are healthcare, 11 are cultural, and 17 are sports.The construction of 21 schools is planned under the “Cozy School” national project. Today, 5 educational institutions have been put into operation, and 5 schools will be handed over before the new academic year. 28 facilities have been built within the framework of the “Modernization of Healthcare in the Village” national project.245 new ambulances were purchased for healthcare institutions in all villages of the region, and the issue of ambulances was completely resolved. The “For the People of Kazakhstan” Fund, established at the initiative of the Head of State, allocated 4.8 billion tenge for the development of the region’s healthcare sector. Thanks to it, “Kamkorlyk” rehabilitation centers were opened in the Aral and Zhanakorgan districts and the city of Kyzylorda.In addition, mobile medical complexes for screening were purchased for 1 billion 100 million tenge, and today they provide uninterrupted medical services to rural residents. The gymnasium and leisure areas are well-suited for physical education classes and sporting events.During the year, the "Schoolchildren's House" for 200 people and the "School of Arts" for 50 people will open in the Shieli district. In May, a new building for the "Creative Academy" and a music college will be completed, and the construction of a physics and mathematics boarding school for gifted children is scheduled to finish in March. As part of preparations for the flood-prone period, the Minister of Emergency Situations, Major General Chingiz Arinov, visited the Kengir reservoir located in the city of Zhezkazgan during a working visit to the Ulytau region. During the inspection, the minister assessed the condition of the reservoir’s hydraulic structures, sluices and electrical mechanisms. Particular attention was paid to the stable and safe operation of all elements of the infrastructure that ensure the operation of the facility. He instructed to take all necessary measures to prevent the possible consequences of flooding and protect citizens from the threat of emergency situations. Currently, all seven locks of the Kengir reservoir are fully ready to release water, which will minimize the risk of emergency situations in the spring period. Active preventive measures are continuing in the region to reduce the risk of spring floods and ensure the safety of the population. Since the beginning of the year, 53.2 billion tenge has been spent from the republican budget to pay state social benefits for disability and loss of a breadwinner (hereinafter referred to as state social benefits). In addition, social payments for loss of working capacity and loss of a breadwinner in the amount of approximately 7.4 billion tenge were made from the State Social Insurance Fund (hereinafter referred to as the MSIF).As of February 1, 2025, the number of MSIF recipients for disability was approximately 541.7 thousand people, and for loss of a breadwinner - approximately 193.3 thousand people.The amount of state social benefits for disability depends on the group and cause of disability, as well as the amount of the minimum subsistence level established by the Law "On the Republican Budget" for the relevant financial year.The amount of state social benefits for loss of a breadwinner depends on the number of people dependent on the deceased breadwinner, the causes of death and the minimum subsistence level.In addition, social payments are made from the MSIF in case of social risks to participants in the mandatory social insurance system. For example, as of February 1, 2025, 86.1 thousand people received social benefits for loss of working capacity, and about 61.3 thousand families received social benefits for loss of a breadwinner.The amount of payments is individual and depends on: the average monthly income for which social contributions were made to the Social Insurance Institution for the last 2 years, coefficients for loss of working capacity, the number of dependents, the length of participation in the compulsory social insurance system, and income replacement.These payments are made in addition to similar benefits paid from the republican budget.The amount of state social benefits for disability and loss of a breadwinner increased by 6.5% from January 1, 2025 due to the increase in the minimum subsistence level. By decision of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the amount of social security payments for loss of working capacity and loss of a breadwinner has also increased by 6.5%. For example, this year, the amount of social security for disability due to a general illness is 101,702 tenge for group 1, 81,362 tenge for group 2, and 55,474 tenge for group 3.
