Today, a presentation of an important project aimed at forest fire prevention took place in the State Nature Reserve "Semei Forest". The event was attended by Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Yerlan Nysanbayev, Chairman of the Board of JSC "Kazakhtelecom" Bagdat Musin and Deputy Akim of the region Kuanysh Suleymenov.The first devices of the automated monitoring system for early detection of forest fires were installed in the Kamyshenka Forestry of the Borodulikha branch of the reserve. This project is a modern technological solution that allows forest fire prevention and prompt action.The system fully monitors the forest area using optical and thermal imaging cameras working 24 hours a day. Cameras installed on 30-meter antenna masts rotate 360 ​​degrees and automatically detect signs of smoke and fire. When a danger is detected, a signal is immediately sent to the emergency control center. This allows timely isolation of fire outbreaks and reduction of damage.The system will be integrated with the control center of the Ministry of Emergencies in the future. One of the brightest cultural events of the year - the international festival "Altai - the golden cradle of the Turkic world" was held in East Kazakhstan.
