In Kostanay region, by the end of the year, it is planned to fully resolve the issue of public access to high-quality drinking water. As part of the execution of the instructions of the President of Kazakhstan, large-scale work is underway to connect rural and urban settlements to water supply systems.To date, water is provided:99% of the urban population,91.3% of the rural population.By the end of 2025, the remaining 33 villages and 2 towns — Arkalyk and Tobyl — will also be connected. As a result, the region will reach 100% coverage., What will be done:Centralized water supply will be installed in 20 villages (13 thousand people),Water distribution points will be installed in 13 villages (3,000 people),Water transportation will be organized in 7 settlements."Providing the population with clean drinking water is not only a matter of infrastructure, but also a matter of quality of life. We are completing work in the remaining villages and towns, as instructed by the Head of State," the Department of Energy and Housing and Communal Services noted.66 water supply and sanitation projects are being implemented this year:45 — in rural settlements,21 — in cities.The total amount of financing is 22 billion tenge, including:6.9 billion — from the National Fund,5.3 billion — from the Stabilization State Fund,7.6 billion — from the local budget,2.1 billion — from the republican budget.Additionally, in June, it is planned to allocate another 9 billion tenge for the implementation of 14 projects, 13 of them in villages and 1 in the city of Tobyl.
