There are 55 unfinished social facilities registered in the West Kazakhstan region, which were started in 2020-2023. The reason for the downtime of these facilities was the irresponsibility of contractors, suspension of financing, lack of necessary materials, etc.
However, in 2023-2024, construction of facilities resumed, and 53 facilities have already been built, including residential buildings, schools, sports complexes, water pipelines, and others.
Akim of the West Kazakhstan region Nariman Turegaliyev, holding contractors accountable, found appropriate sources of financing and put an end to this issue.
Thus, the construction of a sports and recreation complex in the Taskalinsky district of the West Kazakhstan region and three-storey residential buildings in the Terektinsky district was supposed to begin in 2020 and be completed in 2022. However, construction work has been suspended for various reasons. On behalf of the akim of the region, relevant work has been carried out on this issue, and construction of the facilities has been completed this year.
