On August 19, 2026, a technical training session was held at the Department of Internal State Audit for the city of Astana, chaired by the Head of the Department, M.A. Orazbay.

The event was attended by heads of structural divisions and employees of the Department.

The invited speaker was A.B. Omarov, Head of the Legal Department of the Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

During the technical training, the results of the audit engagement of the Supreme Audit Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023–2025 regarding the Department's activities were reviewed, as well as current issues of applying legislation in the field of state audit and financial control, administrative proceedings, and judicial practice.

Special attention was paid to the procedure for transferring audit materials to prosecution and criminal investigation bodies, the grounds for conducting unscheduled state audits, compliance with the timelines and procedures of administrative proceedings, the hearing procedure in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the preparation and support of court materials.

Following the event, measures were identified aimed at improving the quality of work, ensuring uniform application of legislation, and preventing violations and shortcomings in the Department's future activities.
