A large-scale ski race was held in the village of Lobanovo, Ayyrtau district, which gathered about 300 participants. Both professionals and outdoor enthusiasts took part in the launch.
People from all over the region took part in the mass sports event. Some started skiing for the first time, proving that it's never too late to take the first step towards an active lifestyle.
A new sports challenge was launched with the race, which aims to unite the regions of Kazakhstan through sports. The baton was passed to Kostanay region.
