Akim of Zhambyl region Yerbol Karashukeyev met with teachers of schools and colleges and discussed issues of education development.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays special attention to education issues with an emphasis on improving its quality and meeting modern requirements. Large-scale work is underway in the region to create favorable conditions for the successful development of the education system," said the governor of the region.
Erbol Karashukeyev also highlighted the main achievements of schoolchildren and teachers this year.
In total, 6 Zhambyl teachers were awarded the honorary title of "Kazakstannyn enbek sinirgen ustazy" ("Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan"), three of them this year.
This year, 71 teachers have won international and national competitions.
In the international competition named after the famous professor in Kazakhstan Askar Zhumadildaev and IMPACT, our teachers took the first place in the team competition, in the republican competition "Mathematical Regatta" - the third place, became winners of the republican competitions "The best methodologist", "The best homeroom teacher". Also, 8 teachers became the winners of the "Best Author's Program" competition.
For 13 years, 51 teachers have won the title of "Best Teacher", 19 of them work in rural schools.
According to the results of the republican contest of scientific projects, students of Zhambyl schools retain the status of the "Best Team" for the 15th year in a row. The title of the "Best team" was also confirmed by Zhambyl schoolchildren following the results of the republican Olympiad. According to the results of the PISA study, Zhambyl schools also won the 1st place in the republic.
During the meeting, Erbol Karashukeev awarded teachers for achievements in the field of education.
In particular, cash certificates (in the amount of 300 MCI) were awarded to 6 winners of the regional stage of the republican contest "The Best Teacher-2024".
Five teachers became holders of the honorary title and the badge "For contribution to the educational sphere of Zhambyl region". They were also awarded cash certificates.
Congratulatory letters from the akim of the region were also presented to the participants.
Natalia Volotko, geography teacher at the Daryn Regional specialized boarding school for gifted children, Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan, and Mereke Kenzhebekova, biology teacher at the S.Seifullin Secondary School in Shuisky district, winner of the republican contest "Best Teacher-2024", also spoke.
