The forum "Culture and spirituality as a strategic resource in the development of economy, business, peace and harmony in the Kazakh society" was held in North Kazakhstan region. The forum was attended by heads of government agencies, deputies, ethnocultural associations of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, representatives of the clergy, and public figures of the region. Participants from the regions of the region attended the forum via video link.
Akim of the region Gauez Nurmukhambetov noted that spirituality plays a key role in the development of Kazakh society, being a strategic resource for the economy, business, peace and harmony. They strengthen national identity by uniting different ethnic groups and forming the basis for sustainable development.
During the forum, speakers shared their opinions and ideas about the role of cultural and spiritual values in our society. Anatoly Bashmakov, Professor of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honorary Citizen of North Kazakhstan Region, emphasized the importance of human capital development as a driver of economic development.
A ceremony was held to award medals, badges and letters of appreciation from the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan to a number of North Kazakhstanis who contributed to strengthening unity in the country and the region.
