On December 20, 2024, a regular meeting of the Public Council on Fuel and Energy Complex Issues was held at the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chaired by Minister of Energy Almasadam Satkaliyev.
The meeting discussed key issues related to the forecast of crude gas production, commercial gas production, gas transit, as well as the approval of principles for the formation of a methodology for calculating the price of liquefied petroleum gas for consumers. The council members were informed in detail about the work of the Ministry of Energy in increasing the resources of commercial gas using the latest technologies and equipment, which will ensure the stable functioning of the country's gas industry.
In addition, the meeting heard the report of the Ministry of Energy on the implementation of the instructions of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on increasing the investment attractiveness of the gas industry.
At the end of the meeting, the Minister of Energy expressed gratitude to the members of the Public Council for their contribution to the development of the industry and presented awards: badges and letters of appreciation. These awards recognized the achievements of the Council members in strengthening energy security and sustainable development of Kazakhstan's energy sector.
