Housing construction is underway in the Zhambyl region. New microdistricts are being built in Taraz as part of state programs. Last year, 759 thousand square meters of housing were put into operation in the region (the plan is 750 thousand square meters).
In addition, the construction of 78 houses with 3,709 apartments began, of which 26 houses with 1,159 apartments were put into operation.
In the region, 1,671 apartments were purchased for large families and socially vulnerable groups of the population for 23.2 billion tenge. As a result, 1,038 families were provided with housing, of which 926 were families from socially vulnerable groups.
In 2024, 2 times more funds were allocated from the budget for housing construction and apartment purchase. (In 2023 - 23.2 billion tenge, in 2024 - 40.8 billion tenge).
This year, it is planned to commission 770 thousand square meters of housing and purchase 361 apartments for families from socially vulnerable groups of the population.
Last year, 1 billion tenge was allocated to provide housing for 140 young families within the framework of the "Aulieata Youth" program. This year, this project will be continued and it is planned to provide housing for about 150 young people.
